you do not have to ask us.

it is a button, it is in the app, and nobody is going to try to talk you out of it on the way. this page is for when you cannot get in to press it.

the fast way — inside the app

  1. 1open oomfy ai and go to YOU
  2. 2settings → account → delete account
  3. 3confirm. that is the whole flow.

there is also a 30-day deactivation if you just want to disappear for a while — logging back in quietly reactivates it, and nothing is destroyed.

the web way — if you cannot get in

three things survive deletion

everything else is destroyed — chats, messages, memories, facts, personas, characters, images, voice clips. these three are retained because the law requires it, and we would rather name them than let you find out later.

  • crisis-referral counts

    a number, not a message. california sb 243 requires us to report how many crisis referrals we issued to the office of suicide prevention. we cannot report a count we deleted, and the count contains nothing about you.

  • financial records

    invoices and tax records, for exactly as long as tax law requires and not one day longer.

  • store-receipt claims

    the claim on a google or apple receipt survives deletion, because otherwise "buy, redeem, delete, re-register, replay" would be a working exploit. it is a receipt id, not a person.

you can also export everything first — your chats, your characters, your memory. taking it with you is a hard promise, and it works whether or not you are leaving.
